The SRC Group is built on years of hands-on work inside membership organizations learning what actually moves the needle, what doesn't, and what most organizations are missing.
The SRC Group was founded on a simple observation: the organizations doing the most important community work are often the ones with the least support in growing it.
For years, the work that would become The SRC Group's foundation was happening inside membership organizations across Atlanta — growing membership bases, building partnerships, curating experiences, and connecting organizations to the people and opportunities that helped them thrive.
It started at the Commerce Club, one of Atlanta's most established private business clubs — where the work of growing and engaging an elite membership required more than outreach. It required strategy, curation, and the kind of relationship-building that turns a membership card into a genuine community. Partnerships with outside organizations, brands, and businesses became a core part of that work — expanding the value of membership and the reach of the organization at the same time.
That experience laid the foundation. But it was the work of building from scratch that sharpened the methodology.

The Local Connective — a membership organization focused on connecting, developing, and supporting entrepreneurs and professionals — was built from the ground up. No existing base. No inherited relationships. Just the work of creating something valuable enough that people would invest in it, show up for it, and bring others into it.
That same work continued as founding membership director of Young Professionals of Greater Atlanta — connecting and developing a new generation of professionals through membership, partnerships, and programming built around what members actually needed to grow.
Alongside these organizations, partnerships and affiliations with organizations like the Atlanta Black Chambers, United Way, and nearly a dozen others across the city deepened an already comprehensive understanding of how membership organizations operate, struggle, and succeed.
The SRC Group exists to take that depth of experience and make it available to organizations beyond the ones we've already worked alongside. What was once work done inside organizations is now work done on behalf of them.
These aren't values written for a website
They're the convictions built through years of work inside the membership industry

Membership organizations exist to create belonging. When the community is strong, everything else — retention, growth, revenue — follows. We never lose sight of what membership organizations are actually for.

We don't theorize about what works in membership organizations. We've lived it — built from scratch, grown from stagnation, and navigated the real challenges that come with this work. That experience is what we bring to every engagement.

The fastest path to growth in this industry isn't marketing — it's the right relationship at the right time. We build with intention because a single partnership or connection can change the trajectory of an organization.

A great strategy that never gets implemented is worth nothing. We stay in the work — not just advising from a distance, but helping organizations move with the network, the tools, and the support to actually get there.

The leaders doing this work every day are often too close to it to see clearly. An outside perspective — one that comes with real experience and without internal politics — is one of the most valuable things an organization can bring in.

The best work we do doesn't just solve an immediate problem — it builds something that keeps working after the engagement ends. Every strategy, partnership, and experience is designed with the long term in mind.

Leveraging relationships with intention, structured to last well beyond the handshake.
The SRC Group works exclusively with membership-based organizations — not because it's a niche, but because it's where our experience lives and where we can genuinely move the needle.
If your organization's success depends on the strength of its community, the value it delivers to members, and the relationships it builds inside and outside its walls — this is where we do our best work.
We work with organizations at different stages — from those building their membership infrastructure for the first time, to established organizations ready to grow into new markets or deepen what they've already built.
Every service The SRC Group offers was developed through real work, inside real organizations — not developed in theory and tested on clients.
The first step is a conversation. Tell us where your organization is and where you want it to go — and we'll help you get there.
